SARAS held online meeting - “IFRS Standards and management commentary – Main Updates”

On November 16, 17:00 Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of Ministry of Finance of Georgia and IFRS Foundation, with the support of Financial Inclusion and Accountability Project sponsored by EU and the World Bank, held an online meeting on “IFRS Standards and Management Commentary – Main Updates”.

The meeting was intended for PIEs, I and II category entities. Up to 240 people attended the event. 

It’s the 4th consecutive year of organizing such event. This time a member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Françoise Flores was the key speaker. Her presentation was focused on supposed amendments to IFRSs standards and Management Commentary. Ms. Flores also answered the questions of attendees. 

At the beginning of event, the representatives of the World Bank and SARAS welcomed also the audience.
