World Bank conducts a survey of auditors and audit firms to assess the impact of COVID-19

At the end of May, the World Bank Office in Georgia, with support of SARAS and PAOs held a webinar – “Rising to Coronavirus Challenge”. 
As a follow-up of the webinar, World Bank conducts a survey of auditors and audit firms to assess the possible impact of COVID-19 on the market for audit services as well as the challenges auditors and audit firms face during Coronavirus pandemic. 
The survey covers the following topics: 
• Identification of main challenges on the market for audit services;
• Ongoing process of current audit projects; 
• Identification of complexities within the internal processes and activities of audit firms.
All the questions should be understood in the context of the Coronavirus pandemic. 
Survey results will be considered to develop support plans within the financial inclusion and accountability project supported by the EU and the World Bank.
