Workshops on reporting supervision issues were held within the Twinning Project

On June 24-28, 2019, by invitation of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, and in cooperation with the Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, within the framework of the Twinning Project “Strengthening Capacities of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision”, workshops were held.

The event, hosted by the National Bank of Georgia, was attended by the representatives of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision, the National Bank, the Insurance State Supervision Service, the Georgian Communications and Energy regulatory Commissions.

The workshops were dedicated the issues of financial and non-financial reporting European enforcement practices, its quality review methodology, effective inter-agency cooperation.
