The workshops on the topic - “Facilitating IV Category Enterprises’ Financing through Improved Financial Statements" were held in Tbilisi

On December 6-7 2018 four workshops on topic: “Facilitating IV Category Enterprises’ Financing through Improved Financial Statements" were organized in Tbilisi by the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of the Ministry of Finance with the support of its donor organizations.

The aim of the meetings was to enhance awareness of new, simplified standards of financial reporting for the IV category enterprises developed and implemented in the framework of the UK Good Governance Fund project and promoting its implementation. Up to eight hundred guests, including practicing accountants, auditors and other interested persons, attended the event.

The presentation was  concerning the legislative requirements, the project development, the basic peculiarities of financial reporting standards of IV category enterprises and self-learning material with respect to the simplified financial reporting. Representatives of the Service and its donor organizations, also experts and practitioners involved in the project, addressed the audience.
